Progress you can feel - and measure.

For some individuals, medications do not provide relief from the symptoms of mental health conditions, and in others, the side effects experienced reduce our quality of life.

Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is an evidence-based alternative to help adults who live with major depressive disorder (MDD), major depression with anxious distress, smoking cessation, and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).

This noninvasive, drug-free treatment involves a unique method of using pulsed magnetic fields for therapeutic benefit. This provides targeted stimulation to the parts of the brain responsible for causing depression.

Comprehensive Smoking Cessation Program

Nicotine addiction affects both the body and mind, making it one of the toughest habits to break. Rosecrance Therapies offers an evidence-based, 12 week Smoking Cessation Program that combines medication management, therapy, mindfulness, and FDA-approved TMS to reduce cravings, change habits, and help you quit for good.

For many smokers it may take 30 or more quit attempts before success.*

The Rosecrance Smoking Cessation Program is one of the only comprehensive treatments integrating transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), medication, and therapy to address Tobacco Use Disorder (TUD) with the same clinical rigor as other Substance Use Disorders (SUD).

Using an evidence-based, FDA-approved approach, the program combines adaptive medication management, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and TMS to tackle both cravings and the habits and stressors that fuel smoking. Designed for those who’ve tried to quit many times before, it offers renewed hope through a proven, multidisciplinary model.

The program is ideal for new parents, new grandparents, and adults needing surgical clearance who are ready to make a lasting change.

When traditional therapy isn’t enough

As a proven behavioral health leader in the Midwest, no other program offers our depth of experience and hope. We work with patients’ existing providers to coordinate TMS therapy and communication throughout and at discharge following the conclusion of treatment.

Innovative technology

Rosecrance uses BrainsWay technology to deliver Deep TMS treatment, which has been proven to offer significant results by directly stimulating deeper and broader areas of the brain, effectively treating conditions such as depression, anxious depression, and OCD.

Who qualifies for TMS?

TMS is indicated for individuals presenting with a primary diagnosis of major depressive disorder (MDD), or obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), are over the age of 18, and who have tried a minimum of two antidepressant medications without significant improvement. It has also been found to be effective in treating MDD with anxious distress. We have successfully treated adolescents with TMS, working with families and insurance companies to authorize treatment when medically appropriate. TMS also helps with smoking cessation.

Insurance covers TMS

TMS therapy is covered by most insurance. We are here to help you understand costs, verify insurance, and find affordable options.

We accept most major insurance. For more details about how we can help serve your specific circumstances, fill out the form on this page.
